FURTHER tests are being carried out on AMY WINEHOUSE, who was taken to hospital yesterday after fainting, her spokesman has confirmed.

The singer’s horrified dad, MITCH, rushed the Back To Black star to a central London hospital as a precautionary measure.

But the tests at The London Clinic have proved inconclusive and security today told a photographer that she will kept under observation for a 'few more days'.

Amy's spokesperson said: "She seems to be fine in herself, but they are taking their time to be sure."

In a statement, her spokesman said Amy was was at home in Camden when she briefly fainted and fell down a flight of stairs, spraining her ankle.

Shocked friends rang 999 and an ambulance was sent to the scene, where paramedics treated the junkie singer.

Anxious cabbie Mitch, 57, remained concerned and took his daughter to a clinic for further examination.

Amy has battled addictions to crack, heroin and cocaine as well as booze.
