AMY WINEHOUSE has “gone too far,” according to THE ZUTONS, whose song Valerie was turned into a hit by the troubled singer.

Frontman DAVE McCABE is concerned about the diva’s descent into drug addiction, but hopes she can turn her life around.

The tuneful Scousers played a crowd-pleasing afternoon set on Saturday with sexy sax player ABI HARDING proving a particular hit with the punters.

Dave told Virgin Radio: “I hope Amy sorts it out. But does she wanna sort it out? Because the way she’s being treated now, I think it may have gone too far.

“She’s like, ‘You know, I can’t even be bothered dealing with all this situation’. She might just like to be a husky singer in a shady club, which could be good as well.

“I hope she sorts it out. I hope she becomes happy, and if she’s happy now then fair enough.”
