LILY ALLEN has revealed she will quit pop music if her second album is not well received.

And the pink-haired star is already planning a new career as a music industry mogul if her follow-up to Alright, Still flops.

Watch out SIMON COWELL.

Lily revealed: “I’m really scared about what people are going to say. I don’t know why. Some people will like it and some won’t. If people hate it, then I’ll just try something else.

“I’d really like to do A&R (Artists and Repertoire) at a record company. I love going to gigs.”

Cowell made his name as a talent scout before he became an all-round music and TV overlord.

I reckon Lily has the perfect connections, the ear for a tune and of course the mouth to take on the high-trousered one.

But she will need to improve on her self-confidence before she can make and break pop careers.

The insecure singer still thinks she has slightly blagged her incredible pop success.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: “I feel like I got away with something. I left school at 15. I’m not a genius songwriter. I don’t think I’m really good at anything.”

And her self-deprecation could even influence the title of her new album, which she has been finishing in Los Angeles.

She is planning to call it Stuck On The Naughty Step.

She said: “I feel like I’m stuck in a hole where people say, ‘Lily, you’re bad. Go think about what you’ve done’.”
