It's been on the cards for a while now.

We've all seen the signs and it was just a matter of time before there was a painful break-up.

Sorry Madonna fans, her love affair with style is finally over.

We've analysed the outfits and the Material Girl's mid-life style crisis (MLSC) can be traced back to 2005 with the launch of her Confessions on a Dance Floor album.

The neon ballet outfits were a little OTT even for her Madgesty.

Since then her wardrobe has veered from even skimpier leotards to layers of grungy groupie wear, with a few dodgy red-carpet outfits thrown in for good measure.

This week in New York Madge finally lost the fashion plot as she left her NY apartment wearing silk bloomers, unbuckled shoes and a grim face topped off with a hoody and greasy hair.
