NICOLE RICHIE has confirmed rumours that she is four months pregnant by her on/off rock star boyfriend JOEL MADDEN.
The star revealed her news during the filming of America's ABC News show.

She told host Diane Sawyer: "Yes I am - we are. I’m almost four months."

The happy news comes at a bad time for Nicole.

Yesterday her reality show, The Simple Life, was cancelled and last week she was sentenced to four days in jail for drug driving offences.

Speaking about her guilty plea, Nicole, 25, added: "I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologise to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving, I would.

“This is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult."

The baby news also means Nicole's soul star dad Lionel will become a first time grandfather at 58.
