DESPITE wearing these sexy denim hotpants, JESSICA SIMPSON'S first country music gig didn't go down too well.
The singer donned the Daisy Duke style shorts, a cowboy hat and a tight white shirt at the Country Thunder USA Festival in Twin Lakes.

But despite looking the part, her singing failed to capture the imagination and her audience were quick to let her know.

One spectator, Adam Matos, claimed she “wasn’t good enough”.

He said: “I just don’t hear the country in her. I don’t hear the twang. She’s not good enough to be here.”

Jessica performed material from her new album as well as covers from country legend WILLIE NELSON, including On The Road Again.

Jessica recently revealed she wants to make country music for “the rest” of her life.

Clearly, that won't be music to everyone's ears...

I notice that a lot of celebrities have been getting booed, lately. I'm really surprise about Jessica because I thought she was America's Sweetheart.
