AFTER one of the worst face-offs in showbiz history ROBBIE WILLIAMS has sensationally split from his beard.

The singer partied with pals in Hollywood without the facial hair that has plagued him in recent months.

And I have secured the exclusive interview they all wanted — with the fuzz that almost ended Robbie’s pop career.

The beard revealed: "Robbie poached me from the actor BRIAN BLESSED because he said he wanted to take his career in a different direction. But he’s now decided to go solo again.

"He just cut me off as soon as he got bored. I know how TAKE THAT felt."

On his first night out in ages clean-shaven Robbie was finally looking like a pop star again rather than a hairy UFO nut.

Now all he needs is a catchy new song or two.
